We at Ahuja Foundation organized a debate "Is GMO good for India". This was our endeavour to do our bit towards our mother earth.
We returned back with a feeling of a job well done and with plans to hold more such events in future.
The event was organized on 27th August 2015 at Chaudhary charan singh National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (NIAM)
It was done in collaboration with N.I.A.M and Fortis.
Dr. V.A. Shiva Ayyadurai, the inventor of email and polymath, who is a world-renowned systems scientist, inventor and entrepreneur conducted the debate.

Closely contested debate - 3 teams for "Yes, GMO is good for India" and 3 teams for "No, GMO is not good for India". Based on debate quality and presentation, a team from the No group was the winner, closely followed by a team from the Yes group. Judges' decision: "Inconclusive" if GMOs are good for India...
